From 2005 to roughly 2018, Palestinians from the village of Bil'in staged protest every Friday against the Segregation Wall built by the State of Israel that confiscated thousands of dunums of land belonging to villagers. As a result of these protests, villagers were able to recover some of their lost lands but have still suffered from the effects of dispossession caused by the Wall and its impacts.
